Kok Wan is the Managing Director of the Built Environment Technology Alliance (BETA) in the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). With more than 30 years of experience in developing capabilities and building new organisations, his work in BETA is to create an innovation-powered ecosystem that enables leading Singapore firms in the built environment sector to form R&D capabilities, so as to gain a competitive edge in the global markets.

Prior to joining BETA BCA, Kok Wan held senior positions in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as the Army’s first Chief Systems Integration Officer, as well as in the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) as the Assistant Chief Executive (Registries).

Kok Wan is an alumnus of Imperial College London (1986), National University of Singapore (1994), Nanyang Technological University (2001) and The Wharton School (2016).
